Before this, I spent over a decade in award-winning agencies working with brands like Unilever, Mars, P&G, and Elemis — learning how branding shapes beliefs and identity, shifts perceptions, and makes people fiercely loyal to something that feels like theirs.
But let’s be honest: that world wasn’t built for us.
So I took what I learned and built Poppetry, an Islamic kids lifestyle brand that helped children fall in love with their faith. What started as a passion project in my living room became a brand loved by thousands (and yes, I sold it in 2020, Alhamdulillah).
When I had my first child, Poppetry was born too.
It started as a way to reshape the narrative for Muslims—by inspiring faith in little ones through a faith-led, Scandinavian-inspired brand that looked nothing like what was out there at the time. It became an iconic, well-loved brand that, Alhamdulillah, I sold in 2020.
